With our busy lives, it is easy to forget to schedule appointments for our pets to receive routine vaccinations. NIAM is a reminder to make sure your pets are up to date on their vaccinations, so they can stay happy & healthy! It is the perfect opportunity to check up on our furry friends!

Why are Pet Immunizations Important?

• Many contagious diseases can be airborne
  • Even if your pet is kept indoors, it could contract a disease through an open window
• Boarding kennels, dog parks, and grooming salons are high-risk environments
  • If you are visiting these places frequently with your pet, it is better to be safe than sorry
• Pets can get lost or come into contact with other animals
  • This may lead to transmission of diseases
• Many immunizations are recurrent
  • It is important to check at least annually
