Staff Spotlight: Olivia Schmich ⭐️

Staff Spotlight⭐️ Olivia Schmich is a paralegal intern here at the Animal Law Firm. Olivia was born in Eugene, OR, but she has lived in Boulder, CO for most of her life. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with bachelor’s degrees in both English and Women & Gender Studies. During the pandemic, Olivia went back to school for her associate degree in Paralegal Studies from the Community College of Aurora where she will be graduating in May of 2024. Olivia has always known that she wanted to work with animals in some way, and while at CU Boulder she found that she was very passionate about the law as well. So, finding work in animal law is the perfect fit. Olivia has three cats and two dogs. Her border collie/corgi mix, Gracie, is the light of her life, and she is so grateful that she gets to escort Gracie into her very old age. Olivia feels very passionately about adopting senior dogs and cats and ensuring they have the best possible end-of-life care.
